Dr Lina Daouk-Öyry, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Olayan School of Business (OSB) at the American University of Beirut (AUB). Lina specializes in Psychometrics, with extensive experience in competency-based assessment, and cross-cultural test adaptation. She led the team that developed and published the first model of personality in the Arab world, and its corresponding assessment tool. Her research focuses on individual differences at work (personality, motives, and competencies) , with a special focus on the healthcare sector. Lina teaches HR management, organizational behavior, and leadership development on the undergraduate program, graduate programs (MHRM, MBA, Executive MBA), and Executive Education at OSB. Lina holds a PhD from City University’s Psychology department after receiving her MSc in Organizational Behavior in 2003.
